One of the most important organization of Turkey, IDEF 13th International Defence Industry Fair will be held under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey and hosted by the Ministery of National Defence and under the management and responsibility of Turkish Armed Forces Foundation.
IDEF which will be organized between May 09-12, 2017 at Tuyap Fair Convention and Congress Center in Büyükçekmece / İstanbul, is becoming an important attraction center as a window of the Turkish Defence sector which opens to the world. For this year’s event is held for the 13th, from 156 countries 353 delegation including 156 countries’ Minister of National Defence, 105 countries’ Undersecretary of Defence Industry, 14 countries’ Deputy Minister of National Defence, 7 countries’ Undersecretary of National Defence, 23 countries’ Chief of Staff, 11 countries Ground Forces Commander, 29 countries’ Air Forces Commander and 8 countries’ Gendarmerie Commander was invited.
IDEF’17 will give place to the participation of 61 countries which are the leading countries like USA, Germany, Russia, France, England and Italy, and export the products of defence industry sector. Turkish Defence Industry is also one of these important countries’ defence industry.
The meeting between delegations and exhibitors will be organized this year again, and also by the main time IDEF’17 will be a platform which will be hosted the meetings between exhibitors and exhibitors for the first time as an innovation. In this context, total 43 scheduled meetings between the procurement and decision-making authority and delegations, exhibitor companies and exhibitor companies in coordination of the organizer.
IDEF’17 will come together visitors and the latest technologies about several issues like land, naval and aviation-aerospace vehicles and all related sensors and arm systems; ballistic armour solutions and from smallest caliber to biggest; remote platforms and their sensors, related logistic support services, all kind of the electronic systems and its components, rocket and missile systems and air defense solutions from land to land, from land to air, from air to air and from air to land, all kind of electronic warfare solutions integrated or stand-alone, training and simulation solutions towards all kind of platforms and systems, capability of jetting about the aerospace performances; the capability about all that’s solutions and Siber Defence workings, self-defense solutions and military medicine equipments. IDEF’17 once again, will be a meeting platform of latest technologies at global scale.
