Maerospace Corporation, a global supplier of real-time, predictive analytics to the maritime market, has announced the award of a contract under the Government of Canada Innovation for Defence Excellence and Security (IDEaS) program.
With an immediate project launch, the IDEaS funded program will be completed by end of the 2019 calendar year. Built upon Maerospace’s recognized expertise in predictive analytics, this project leverages the company’s newest technology that extracts tracks from optical imagery, radar imagery and radar data sources. By funding this project, IDEaS has acknowledged the impact of Maerospace’s ground-breaking advances in the technology of data integration and association algorithms.
According to Eric Meger, Maerospace CEO, “This project will require advanced analytics in data association and integration to merge multiple sensor networks in real-time to enhance maritime domain intelligence. IDEaS has recognized our company leadership in advanced predictive software algorithms, and we look forward to supporting our Government’s defence efforts with innovations that have real world applications.
