David has written six novels set in the RAF’s Phantom community during the Cold War, and has also published several non-fiction works examining RAF Cold War fighters.

David Gledhill was a navigator on the Royal Air Force’s (RAF’s) McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom series fighter, and then on the RAF’s Panavia Tornado-F3 fighter.

He is now an accomplished author. He shared perspectives on his new Cold War thriller Infiltration, the latest in a series of books which puts the reader in the cockpit and in the middle of the action, giving a taste of what it was like to fly these iconic RAF fighters.
