MSPO-2020

– If the Kielce defence industry is held, the Polish Armaments Group will undoubtedly become involved in this endeavour – said Poland’s Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during his Thursday’s (09.07.) visit to Skarżysko-based Mesko.

– I know that analyses regarding sanitary conditions are underway; these measures are designed to make the event safe. If the MSPO is held, PGZ will be its main partner, as it has been until now. I want to dispel any doubts related to this matter – added the Head of Poland’s Government in his interview with Radio Kielce.

– Intensive MSPO preparations are underway. The trade show is held from 8 to 11 September 2020 and organised accordance with the latest sanitary requirements – confirms Mr. Andrzej Mochoń PhD, President of the Board, Targi Kielce SA – We have already registered many Polish and foreign companies, we have also received the letter from United Kingdom Ambassador which confirms UK’s MSPO participation as the expo Lead Nation.

For many years, the September International Defence Industry Exhibition has been the presentation arena for defence industry companies from all corners of the world.

MSPO is much more than a comprehensive showcase for armaments and military equipment. The expo abounds with business meetings and seminars. This is also the place where the defence sector producers from different continents sign contracts. MSPO comes third in Europe’s military exhibition rankings, just after Paris and London. It is worth noting that no other defence industry event is held this year because of the coronavirus pandemic.

– The Prime Minister’s announcement made at the Skarżysko Mesko meeting is a good herald for domestics “arms industry”, the whole Świętokrzyskie region, the city of Kielce and, of course also for the expo centre – believes President Andrzej Mochoń. – We have been committed to the Polish defence industry’s promotion and image building for 28 years, thus Poland’s arms industry has been thus regarded a reliable business partner on the international arena. I am really happy that we will make our further contribution also this year. We also view this as an impulse for the entire exhibition industry – exhibition participation is the economic recovery symptom.

The previous MSPO brought together 610 companies from 31 countries, including 303 Polish firms. The expo hosted 58 official foreign delegations from 49 countries, 30.5 thousand guests from around the world visited the Kielce exhibition and congress centre; this number includes the 13 thousand visitors on MSPO Open Day – the MSPO culmination. The Polish Armaments Group has been MSPO’s Strategic Partner since 2016.
