Exail, a global leader in navigation, has signed a contract with Precision Technic Defence A/S, a specialist in defense technology, to supply Advans Vega Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) for integration into mobile surveillance systems. These systems will be deployed on multiple platforms by the land forces of a major Northern European country.
The Advans Vega INS was chosen for its high precision in targeting, offering a heading accuracy of up to 0.5 milliradians. This level of precision is crucial in military operations where even the smallest deviation can significantly impact mission outcomes. The system is engineered to maintain this accuracy in dynamic and challenging environments, ensuring reliable navigation, surveillance and targeting across various defenseapplications.
“Our focus has always been on delivering solutions that provide unparalleled accuracy and reliability in the field,” said Jesper Rom Knudsen, CEO at Precision Technic Defence Group. “The Advans Vega INS meets these exacting standards, offering the precision needed to guarantee the operational effectiveness of these surveillance systems in even the most exacting conditions.”
“The selection of the Advans Vega INS by Precision Technic Defence underscores the value of our technology in critical defense applications,” said Neil Perriton, Head of Land Defense & Special Forces for Northern Europe at Exail. “This agreement not only reinforces our partnership with Precision Technic Defence but also reflects our dedication to supporting military operations with cutting-edge navigation solutions.”
This collaboration strengthens Exail’s position in the European defense market, reaffirming its role as a leading provider of advanced inertial navigation systems. It also extends the list of armed forces that have adopted Exail’s technologies, including those of France, Poland, Spain, Germany, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.
