In the modern battlefield, seamless communication isn’t just an advantage; it’s a necessity. The ATS-3200 RTS, a comprehensive benchtop solution, is ideal for depot-level diagnostics and maintenance. On the other hand, the ATS-6100 RTS is a handheld, portable version tailored for quick and efficient field-level testing. Both solutions operate on the same software platform, ensuring seamless synergy and familiarity for users regardless of the environment. This unified approach streamlines the learning curve and enhances operational efficiency across different maintenance levels.

The versatility of both the ATS-3200 RTS and ATS-6100 RTS is unmatched. Capable of testing legacy systems like SINCGARS, as well as modern and forward-looking waveforms, these test solutions are equipped to handle radios from virtually any OEM, whether they are ground-based or airborne. This broad compatibility ensures that forces are ready for both current missions and future challenges, without worrying about compatibility issues.

Our solutions have recently received significant validation and contract awards from prominent military bodies. The U.S. Army selected Astronics for the development of the TS-4549/T Radio Test Set under an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) program valued at approximately $215 million. This initiative aims to replace the aging GRM-122 radio test equipment used for tactical radios, with deliverables expected over the forthcoming years. The solution for this program is based on the ATS-3200 RTS, which is now commercially available.

In parallel, the U.S. Marine Corps has also placed its trust in Astronics by awarding a firm fixed price, IDIQ contract for portable radio test equipment, part of their Handheld Radio Test Sets program (HHRTS). Valued at approximately $40 million, with an initial production order of $9.6 million for 2023-2024, this five-year term contract will replace obsolete equipment and enhance the readiness of Marine Corps communication systems. Astronics based the solution for this program on the recently announced ATS-6100 RTS.
