The new M&P4 rifle series from Smith & Wesson and the Gemtech Abyss suppressor are designed to meet the demanding needs of military, law enforcement, and professional users, offering unparalleled performance, versatility, and reliability.
Smith & Wesson Brands, Inc. has announced the release of the M&P4 rifle series, a new addition to their renowned M&P family, specifically tailored for the military and law enforcement professional market. These rifles are engineered for excellence across various applications and conditions, making them a versatile and reliable choice for professionals.
The M&P4 rifles are available in multiple configurations, with barrel lengths of 11.5 or 14.5 inches, and feature select-fire capabilities. They come equipped with six-position buttstocks and can achieve effective ranges of 300 or 600 meters, depending on the model. Built to last, the M&P4 rifles feature upper and lower receivers made from 7075 Aluminum with our Armonite coating. Additional features include Picatinny rails for optics mounting, hinged trigger guards, chromed firing pins, mil-spec bolt carriers, and an ejection port dust cover.
Gemtech, a leader in suppressor innovation and design, has introduced the Abyss suppressor, featuring new direct thread mount adapters. These adapters are compatible with HUB 1.375-24” thread pitch, creating a lighter and more compact design across the suppressor series. This new feature provides flexibility for end users to utilize other existing mounting systems on the market.
The Abyss suppressor is available in 5.56 and 7.62 calibers. The direct thread adapters are also available for individual purchase, allowing users to upgrade their existing Abyss models that include an ETM (Elite Taper Mount).
The Abyss suppressor is built on five of Gemtech’s patent-pending technologies, setting the standard within the heavy-use suppressor category. Its baffle design lowers pressure, minimizes muzzle flash, and lessens back pressure by routing gasses forward away from the shooter for increased comfort.
