Editor Andrew Drwiega has just returned from several days in Russia where he visited the Ansat/Mi-38/Mi8/17 production facility in Kazan, the largest city and capital of the Republic of Tatarstan.
He also had the opportunity to visit Army18, the largest exposition of Russian military equipment held on the outskirts of Moscow – again hosted by Russian Helicopters.
At the show, the latest versions of the Mi-28NE Night Hunter, Mi-35M, Mi-35P and the latest version of the giant Mi-26T2B heavy lift helicopter were all on display.
